LOCAL: The Hereford Whiteface basketball camp is Tuesday-Thursday for incoming 3rd-9th graders. Two sessions will run each day with 3rd-6th graders from 9:00-12:00 and 7th-9th from 1:00-4:00. Registration is $30 for the camp and will be 30 minutes prior to each start time at the Triple Gyms……Hereford ISD and College 1st are hosting a series of academic camps for HISD students next week. Dinosaur World camp is open to Pre-K and Kindergarten students and will be Tuesday from 9:00-3:00 at Tierra Blanca. Environmental Engineering camp is open to 6th-11th graders and will be Wednesday from 1:00-6:00 at the Civic Center. Thursday and Friday Space Exploration camp will be at the Civic Center open to 1st-5th graders. Registration deadline is 4:00 today, call 806-363-7600 to register……Hereford City Commissioners meet in regular session this evening at 6:30 at City Hall to discuss a 13-item agenda. One item on the agenda is to consider approval of an appointment for Place Five Commissioner……The Texas Tech Red Raiders baseball team beat UCLA last night, 8-2, to clinch the Lubbock Regional.
