LOCAL: Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Don DeLozier will be transitioning to Executive Director of Operations at HISD beginning July 1st. Coach DeLozier has led the Herd for 18 seasons, racking up a 94-106 record, and took the Whitefaces to 10 post-season appearances. Coach DeLozier is a 1982 HHS Graduate……The Texas Department of State Health Services reported 58 statewide deaths due to COVID-19 yesterday. The newly released report also has four new confirmed cases in Deaf Smith County, and one additional fatality bringing the total number of deaths for Deaf Smith County to 67 from COVID-19……Funeral services for Karl Lynn King, age 61, will be Saturday at 2:00 at Parkside Chapel Funeral Directors. A visitation will be at Parkside Chapel today from 5:00-7:00……Funeral services for Estela Herrera, age 78, are today at 2:00 at San Jose Catholic Church……The Hereford Food Pantry is open for food pick-up today from 12:00-4:00 at 900 North Lee……The Lion’s Club Carnival is at the Bull Barn today through Sunday beginning at 5:00 each evening.
