They’ll meet at 4:30 at the Civic Center……The U.S. Government will pay down national debt for the first time in six years this quarter. The Treasury Department estimates that this fiscal year’s budget deficit will decline $1.5 trillion……The TCFA Feedyard Camp is set for 6/28-7/1 at West Texas A&M University. The camp is open to high school students interested in the cattle feeding industry. Linda was a former Hereford resident and longtime Friona resident who founded Malouf’s Fabrics in Friona. A Rosary service is today at 6:00 at St. Thomas. She died Sunday in Friona…… Funeral services for Opal Walterscheid, age 88, are Friday at 10:30 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Opal was a longtime Hereford resident. Viewing is tomorrow from 5:00-7:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 6:00.
