LOCAL: HHS CTE students competed at the Top of Texas Expo last week in Amarillo. Tim Atkinson was the 3rd Place overall finisher with his 3D print of the Ark of the Covenant. He won three additional 1st place category medals for the project. Keaton Paschel won 1st Place in Precision Wood Cutting. Daryn Cruz, Frankie Martinez, Autumn Wilburn and Francisco Ruiz also won 1st Place medals in the CNC Router and 3d Printing categories…… The Hereford Beautification Advisory Board meets today at 12:00 for a 9-item agenda. They’ll discuss the next Fiesta Down Main among the items at the Civic Center at 12:00……Today is the last day of early voting in the May 7th election. Voting hours are 8:00-5:00 at the Deaf Smith County Courthouse. Election Day is Saturday, and voting hours will be 7:00-7:00 at the courthouse……The Whitefaces will face Big Spring in the first round of baseball playoffs on Friday in Littlefield. The best-of-three series will feature a doubleheader on Friday with the first game beginning at 4:00.
