They defeated Lake Belton in two sets in the Quarterfinals, and Wimberley in three in a Semifinals match that spanned more than two hours……The Whitefaces fell to Canyon by 1 run on a walk-off homer in the regular season finale yesterday. Jake Martin and Javen Lopez each had one hit for the Herd. D.J. Ramirez had 5Ks but would take the loss on the mound. The Whitefaces have clenched a playoff berth……Funeral services for Beckie Fry, age 65, are Friday at 10:30 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Visitation is tomorrow from 5:00-7:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home.
