LOCAL: Herd summer sports camps are concluding next week with football and tennis camps. The Herd Football camp is open to incoming 3rd-9th graders and will run from 9:00-12:00 Monday through Thursday next week at the HHS Fieldhouse. Tennis camp is open to incoming 3rd-12th graders and will be at the HHS tennis courts July 27th-29th……The USDA Farm Service Agency is accepting nominations for candidates to serve on the Deaf Smith County Farm Service Agency Committee. The deadline for candidate nominations is August 2nd. Producers should contact the Deaf Smith County FSA office for more information at 364-0530……Funeral services for Lydia Vigil, age 61, are today at 2:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel. Lydia was a longtime Hereford resident. She died Friday in Hereford……Funeral services for Stil Guerrero, Jr., are this morning at 10:00 at Parkside Chapel Funeral Chapel. Stil died last Monday……Pacific moisture will return to the Panhandle this weekend and bring another round of shower and thunderstorm chances.
