LOCAL: President Biden signed an executive order to address economic problems across the agriculture industry. Included in those orders are directions for the USDA to consider issuing new rules defining when meat can bear “Product of USA” labels so consumers have accurate information on where products are made. The order also encourages the Federal Trade Commission to limit equipment manufacturers from restricting people’s ability to use independent repair shops or DIY repairs on their equipment……The HISD Board of Trustees meet today in special session at 6:00 to discuss a 6-item agenda. That includes an amendment to the 2020/2021 compensation plan, and a budget workshop. The meeting is at the Administration Building……Funeral services for Stil Guerrero, Jr., age 51, are tomorrow at 10:00 at Parkside Chapel……Funeral services for Lydia Vigil, age 61, are tomorrow at 2:00 at Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. A viewing is being held today from 1:00-8:00 with a rosary at 6:00. Lydia was a long-time Hereford resident who died Friday in Hereford……Funeral services are pending at Parkside Chapel for Ben Plummer, age 93, a lifelong Hereford resident.
